Ernest Morris, Tabley House Nursing Home’s very own war hero celebrated his 100th birthday on the 28th June. Two days earlier Ernest’s family arranged for a surprise birthday party at the Tabley Tea Room, next to the nursing home.
Last week we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at Tabley House. Firstly, the residents hand made their own bunting as party of our arts and crafts programme.
Over the last month residents and staff at Tabley House Nursing Home have been raising money for two charities - Dementia UK and the Alzheimer's Society.
Today Tabley’s residents were joined by a guest artist, Jo, who taught the residents some helpful tips and tricks when drawing and painting.
Following on from our Valentine's Day lunch, the residents at Tabley House Nursing Home were serenaded by the fantastic Annie Jay as she sang some of the best love songs from the past decades.
