The team at Tabley House would like to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day - we have had a wonderful day. For our Sunday, the residents had visitors throughout the day and others visited the tea rooms. Our catering team kindly put on a special afternoon buffet for the residents to enjoy. Thank you to the members of staff who helped to make the Sunday special for all.
We are proud to announce that Tabley House Nursing Home, in Knutsford, has been recognised by the annual Care Home Awards as one of the Top 20 care homes in the North West of England.
Tabley House Maintenance Team have helped to build the ‘Memory Corner’ at Tabley House, which includes a movable Jolly Trolley built entirely from scratch. The purpose of the corner is to get residents involved in the decorations and ideas for the corner to match the holidays, such as Christmas or Easter.
Residents and staff members at Tabley House celebrated Valentine’s Day in style yesterday! Leading up to the day, residents took part in crafts to help decorate the Memory Corner, from creating paper love hearts to writing messages about what love means to them.
On Wednesday afternoon, our Tabley friend Jo Fyfe visited the residents for an art session with a festive twist! Residents got the chance to make their own Christmas Wreaths for their doors with an array of different materials and decorations. It's lovely to be getting into the Christmas spirit.
