On Tuesday 13th December Tupwood Gate Nursing Home had a visit from ZooLab who brought with them some exotic and unusual creatures. The residents said they really enjoyed seeing them, and found it really interesting to hold the animals, to feel the textures of the skin / fur, and learn how they adapt to their habitat.
The creatures included a giant land snail called Shelly, a giant Asian scorpion called Darth Vader, a stick insect called Twiggy, an Australian tree frog called Norman, a corn snake called Mr Jangles, a Syrian hamster called Frank and a curly hair tarantula called Cinnamon.
