Tupwood Gate Nursing Home sponsoring Old Caterhamians

Tupwood Gate Nursing Home are delighted to announce a new sponsorship deal with Old Caterhamians RFC.

First established in 1928, Old Caterhamians RFC currently runs two senior men’s teams, a ladies side, minis, juniors and an Academy side in Caterham, Surrey. After back to back promotions, the club is preparing for a challenging new season and will compete with the sponsorship support of Tupwood Gate.

A new deal has been agreed which means the Caterham-based home, which offers expert care 24 hours a day, will be the shirt sponsors of the Old Caterhamians 1stXV.

George Williams, Commercial Manager of OCRFC, explained: “We are a family orientated club and whether it is an eight year old scoring his first try or a vet still running out on a Saturday to fill the gaps when required, everyone supports each other. I know that sense of teamwork and putting people first is mirrored by our new sponsors.

“With our recent successes, the club is buzzing and is going from strength to strength.

“We have a core group of dedicated, passionate supporters who continue to drive the club forward and Tupwood Gate Nursing Home share our values and ‘One Club’ philosophy. Integration and inclusivity is at the heart of all we are trying to achieve and we know that is reflected at Tupwood Gate and wider Cygnet Health Care and Cygnet Social Care services.

“Being in the heart of Caterham we have forged links with a number of local organisations and it is thanks to our fantastic sponsors we have been able to invest in various initiatives over the past few years that have benefitted every section of the club.

“Tupwood Gate are joining us at an exciting time in our history and I’m sure our partnership will prove fruitful and help to project Old Cats to the next level.”

Tupwood Gate manager Zwelani Ndlovu commented: “We are delighted that we will be a sponsor of the club. We have built up wonderful local relationships over the years and we look forward to growing this partnership further.

“We felt inspired by the plans and ambitions which Old Cats have for the future and we look forward to the partnership continuing for many years to come.

“Sport and being physically active can bring a powerful and positive impact on people’s wellbeing, no matter their age. We feel we share the same values as the club and are proud to be sponsoring them and wish all the players and volunteers a successful season ahead.”
