The residents at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home recently celebrated St George’s Day with a cockney singalong with the help of singer and entertainer Billy. The residents enjoyed singing along to old songs that they knew, including, Maybe It’s Because I’m a Londoner, The Lambeth Walk, and many more. Billy also sang songs from the rock and roll era, which residents had a dance to, and moved to the music in their chairs. A great time was had by all.
