Summer Celebrations at Tabley House

On Tuesday 22nd August, Tabley House Nursing Home held a Summer Garden Party, where residents were joined by staff, family and friends to enjoy lunch and entertainment together, as well as celebrating some achievements for the home.

Tabley House was recently announced as the winner of ‘Cygnet in Bloom’, a project ran by Cygnet Social Care to support services to develop their outside spaces. The team at Tabley were presented with their winners’ certificate at the party.

There were also presentations for two staff members in recognition of their long service at Tabley. Joanne Mainwaring, activity co-ordinator, and Jayne Roberts, Health Care Assistant, have worked at the home for 30 years! James O’Neil, the operations director for the region, presented both with a gift to thank them for their hard work over the years.

Karen Lynskey, Registered Manager, said: “Both staff are very hard working with exceptional standards of care. They promote person centred care within their roles and enhance team work in promoting the best outcomes for the residents.”

As part of the celebrations, the guests enjoyed music, dancing provided by some of the Tabley team plus family and friends, and a BBQ for lunch provided by the catering team. They also took part in the tombola and raffle, with prizes kindly donated by families, friends, and local businesses in the area.

It was a wonderful day filled with positivity, and all are looking forward to the next event.
