Tupwood Gate recently enjoyed a performance from a brilliant Bollywood dancer! Before she performed, residents were taught some of the hand gestures so they could join in. At Tupwood, we value providing our residents a wide variety of entertainment from different cultures.
Last week at Tupwood Gate, residents were treated to a carousel show by Musical Memories. They performed numbers from The Wizard of Oz, Laurel and Hardy, Oklahoma and My Fair lady. They had a great day singing along especially when the pearly King and Queen sang Lambeth Walk!
Tupwood Gate recently had a visit from ZooLab, who provide education and animal therapy sessions. Residents were able to meet and handle snakes, spiders and a Gecko. Everyone really enjoyed the session learning interesting facts about each of the different species.
April is Jazz appreciation month and the residents at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home have been celebrating with some fantastic performances.
Residents at Tupwood Gate had the opportunity to share a vintage afternoon tea with their relatives or loved ones this month. This was the first booking and the team are looking forward to welcoming more visitors over the coming weeks.
