Last week the residents enjoyed the company of some furry friends bought in by Fiona’s farm therapy. They were able to have a cuddle and stroke lots of different animals.
There were guinea pigs called Figero, Ed, Biscuit and Crumb, a 4 month old duck called Jemima, two rabbits called Lola and Lillibet and four hens. The hens did not have names, but at the end of the session one particular hen seemed quite attached to one of our residents, and so they named it Marion. The residents said it also bought back past memories of having pets and that they enjoyed the experience very much.
