Friday 16th April saw great joy at Tabley House Nursing Home with the lifting of some visiting restrictions to care homes. Families were reunited and new additions were met for the first time.
Marjory Robinson 90 years old met her great grandson 13 week old Bruce Vivian John (named in part after his great grandfather Marjorie’s husband John) for the first time. She was delighted to hold him in her arms, it brought tears of joy to a whole team of staff as well as her grandson and his wife.
Winifred Stirrup 88 years of age also met her 10 month old great granddaughter Kasiece for the first time. She was ecstatic, chatting away to Kasiece and her granddaughter Carly who also visited.
Karen Lynskey, Matron and Registered Manager for Tabley House Nursing Home, said, “We never thought normality would be so emotional.”
