Residents at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home were grateful to receive both their flu jab and Covid-19 booster this week. Earlier this year Tupwood Gate became the first nursing home in East Surrey to give all its residents the first dose of the vaccine with all residents receiving their second dose in March.
It's fish 'n' chips Friday at Tupwood Gate! On request from the residents, the staff ordered them lunch from their local fish and chip shop and it was served straight from the paper. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Residents at Tupwood Gate recently marked World Alzheimer's day at the home. As purple is the official colour for Alzheimer's awareness, staff arranged purple decorations and a lovely purple afternoon tea! The residents wore purple and also took part in flower making and some memory themed activities.
A staff member at Tupwood Gate has raised a massive £1500 by completing the Shine Night Walk for Cancer Research UK.
